On vacation in Brittany, France I spent one evening doing Astrophotography using the Polarie for tracked exposures:

M31, the Andromeda Galaxy: 7x30s f/3.2, Nikon AF Micro Nikkor 105mm f/2.8, Vixen Polarie
The Micro Nikkor turned out to have quite severe chromatic aberration, which makes it a less then ideal astrophotography lens.
